Thailand Islands

The islands located off the coast of Thailand are renowned all over the world due to their beautiful beaches. There are three main sets of islands you can find; in the Gulf, there are Ko Tao and Ko Samui lie Ko Pha Ngan, Ko Chang and Ko Samet to the east of Bangkok and Ko Phi Phi and Phuket in the Andaman.

Bangkok

The capital city of Thailand, Bangkok is also the largest city in the country and it is a buzzing metropolis of magnificent palaces, glittering nightclubs, high rise buildings, streets lined with vendors hawking tantalizing foods and souvenirs, bustling markets and ancient temples. Bangkok is also known for its natural beauty that you can see in the form of green spaces, remaining canals and flowering tropical plants. The sacred Wat Phra Kaew temple is also a must visit as it contains Emerlad Buddha.

Chiang Mai

A flourishing city, Chiang Mai is surrounded by mountains of northern Thailand and it has become a base for tourists and backpackers who want to explore hill tribes, lush landscapes and outdoor adventures of the area. The city itself is culturally important and quite large where modern and historical Thai traditions and architecture coexist. You can take a walk around the historic center to enjoy views of dozens of Buddhist temples and old city walls. But, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most famous of the Buddhist temples is outside Chiang Mai, on a mountainside that overlooks the city.

Kanchanaburi
